Google Launching Map Based Game Within Google+ Next Month

Google quietly demonstrated a new map-based game yesterday, which they will be launching on to their Google+ social network next month. The new game has been developed by Google Maps team for Google’s gaming platform, and features a blue ball which you will need to navigate through a grid containing a section of map. In a similar way to the old school marble tilt games. You can view a teaser video after the jump.

The player will need to traverse the map to certain check points to gain rewards within the game to advance on to the next level. Once the marble rolls over these markers, players will then be provided with a small piece of information about the maps location.

Other details on the new game are still being kept under wraps at the moment by Google. But as more information becomes available we will keep you updated.
