Gamestop Employee Fired For Planking

Unfortunately planking is not a laughing matter for some people and one unfortunate Gamestop employee has been fired after five years of service for planking within a Gamestop store. John Mazzocchi pictured below posted a picture of himself planking between two in-store kisoks and posted it with : When I go #planking I go hardcore..

Gamestop Planking

Unfortunately some one within Gamestop management didn’t take kindly to the display of planking prowess and both John Mazzocchi and his colleague who took the photo where fired. The pair were probably made an example of by Gamestop management to stop other employees following suit.

The two stands he was planking upon are not the sturdiest in the world. He’s lucky he didn’t damage them. I would have at least suspended him, and probably fired him if I were in the position of Gamestop. Good for them.
