Apple has just rolled out the very first update for its new OS X Lion software, version 10.7.1. that Apple recommends all users update to as it brings with it some important general operating system fixes and improved stability to systems.
Including solving the issues that have caused some machines to become unresponsive when playing videos within Apple’s Safari browser, together with a fix for the audio problem that occurred for some uses when using HDMI or optical audio out.
Other useful fixes included tackling the issue that prevented some users from being able to transfer data, settings and compatible applications to a Mac system running OS X Lion, and updates that bring more stability and reliability to Wi-Fi connections.
10.7.1 also resolves the issue that caused the SD card slot in Mac mini’s to run at reduced speed when using SD and SDHC media. For more detailed information on the new bug fixes and features within OS X Lion 10.7.1 jump over to the Apple support website.
