Archos ChildPad Android 4.0 Tablet Launches For $129

Archos has added a new tablet to their range which has been specifically designed for children, but that doesn’t mean the specifications have suffered. The new Archos comes equipped with Google’s latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is equipped with a 7″ display.
The tablet also comes with access to 14-friendly categories and 10,000 apps including games, entertainment, communication, multimedia, books, comics, sports to name a few, thanks to the Kids App Store powered by AppsLib.

The new Child Pad Tablet is powered by a 1GHz processor supported by 1GB of RAM, and has been designed by Archos to comply with both CIPA and COPPA regulations, making sure its as safe as possible for children to use. Henri Crohas, Founder and CEO of Archos explains:

The Archos Child Pad will be arriving in stores at the end of March and will be available to purchase for $129.
