Apple launched Passbook with iOS 6, there were only a handful of companies that supported the service at launch, and now a few more companies have updated their apps to support Passbook.
Airnb, MacDonalds and Eventbrite have all updated their apps to add in support for Apple’s Passbook, although the McDonald’s app is only limited to France at the moment.
It will be interesting to see how many more companies join Apple’s Passbook over the next few month, and whether the service ends up becoming popular amongst iOS users.
Passbook is a system that lets you store rewards cards, coupons and loyalty cards as well as some payment cards on your iPhone, the Passbook app is then used to replace things like airline tickets and more.
