A new 3D copier has been created called Zeus which is the worlds first 3D copying machine offering similar solution to the existing 2D printer but for a 3D world, that allows you to print, copy and fax 3D files and designs at the touch of a button.
The Zeus 3D printer has been designed to be taken straight from the box and easy to use, replicating the experience you currently get from a 2D printer. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Zeus 3D project and see it in action.
Zeus 3D copy machine and printer has been under development for the last five years and is a “stunningly beautiful product that has been matched with the structure, intelligence, performance, and user experience the 3D printing community has been looking for.” say its creators AIO Robotics.
“Our design philosophy is to create a product that can be beautifully displayed and used in any environment. The ZEUS frame is made from an aluminum structure, powder-coated in a moonstone white, with black anodized side panels. The 7-inch touchscreen gives the machine a welcoming “consumer ready” look.
Instead of plastic or wood, all linear components are made by CNC-machined aluminum (xyz-carrier, turntable) and the external metal enclosure ensures an extremely rigid body. The structure of the machine dramatically increases the quality of the prints, preventing deformation and heat soaking: The results are resilient!”
The Zeus 3D copier project is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
