Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new VR headset, the Xiaomi Mi VR Play 2 which comes with a range of new features over the previous model.
The Xiaomi Mi VR Play 2 will retail for RMB 99 which is about $14 at the current exchange rate and it will go on sale on the 19th of April.
Compared to the first generation of Mi VR, PLAY2 in the design more texture, size looks a lot smaller.
The glasses is definitely made out of plastic but is wrapped with a strong elastic cotton called “dragon cloth”. The part that sits on your face is lined with a padded porous material for comfort.
Another major change is the use of a single elastic nylon headband instead of adjustable straps and the removal of the zipper.
