If you have been saving your hard earned cash with the aim of purchasing one of Microsoft’s new white Xbox One S 2TB consoles, you may be disappointed to learn that stocks have now sold out from official Microsoft resellers and it seems that Microsoft has no plans to replenish stocks.
Earlier this month the Xbox One S 2TB console launched for £349 or $399 and was available to purchase from the likes of Target, Best Buy, Amazon and Game Stop. Although it now seems that the 40 percent smaller console which is equipped with 4K features is now only available via third-party resellers.
As you would expect these third-party resellers are offering the 2TB Xbox One S console at an increased markup price with reports that sales are starting from £470 or around $612. But don’t worry other small storage versions of the Xbox One S will soon be made available by Microsoft, offering both 1TB and 500 GB storage capacities. Microsoft explains a little more about the new features you can enjoy from their Xbox One S.
Play the greatest games lineup, including Xbox 360 classics, on a 40% smaller console. Just don’t let its size fool you: with an internal power supply and up to 2TB of internal storage, the Xbox One S is the most advanced Xbox ever. Experience richer, more luminous colors in games like Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3. With a higher contrast ratio between lights and darks, High Dynamic Range technology brings out the true visual depth of your games.
With four times the resolution of standard HD, 4K Ultra HD delivers the clearest, most realistic video possible. Stream 4k content on Netflix and Amazon Video and watch Ultra HD Blu-ray movies in stunning visual fidelity with High Dynamic Range. Configure your Xbox One S to turn on other devices, like your TV, audio/video receiver, and cable/satellite receiver. Whether you’re playing a game or watching a movie, the integrated IR blaster will get you to the action faster, allowing you to leave your remotes behind.
