All it took are strips of garter and a well-shaped tree for some sporty geeks to build the world’s largest slingshot to be used for playing… basketball.
The guys from Dude Perfect, who have attracted Internet attention before for their ridiculous shotgun basketball idea, makes a comeback with yet another basketball innovation, if we can call it as such.
Cutting down a tree, shaping it to take after a slingshot, and looping some garter around it created the world’s largest slingshot (albeit unofficial as of writing), and they used the “slingshot” to shoot some balls to a basket which was a good few meters away.
Not quite believable? Watch the video below (which leaves everyone wondering how many takes did it take before making the perfect shot). And oh, they are also offering the Dude Perfect basketball game available for both Apple and Android, but with no slingshots.
