Lotus has this week unveiled its new Lotus C-01 superbike they have created which has been designed by Daniel Simon, famous for his work from the Hollywood movies Tron: Legacy, Oblivion, and Captain America.
However unlike the bikes created by Daniel Simon for the movies the new Lotus C-01 superbike will actually be available to purchase. Lotus is currently preparing to manufacture a limited run of 100 Lotus C-01 superbikes in conjunction with German manufacturer Kodewa.
Kodewa and Lotus have worked together in the past to create a variety racing projects and the new Lotus C-01 superbike will be available in three finishes that include British racing green and the Martini colours. Daniel Simon explains a little more about his design for the new Lotus C-01 superbike.
“We have worked hard to create a motorcycle with very distinctive features such as a clean main body, an extremely low side profile, a bold stance, a unique air intake, logical partline solutions and clean graphics.”
