Wings is a new leather everyday backpack designed to provide a robust, technical designed everyday carry which is “super light, high-tech and versatile” say it’s creators Wool & Oak based in Brooklyn, New York. The design team behind Wings explain more about its inspiration and design. “Our current quality backpack options? Overpriced backpacks with little to no functionality OR overly functional technical outdoor backpacks with little to no style. Both of these categories are so specific we are forced to sacrifice either comfort or style. That’s why we created a hybrid bag that combines the best of both categories.”
Launched via Kickstarter last month early bird pledges are available from $195 or roughly £147 with worldwide shipping expected to take place in a few months time around July 2019. Equipped with two external magnetic side pockets and one front zipper pocket the unique design has full zip side panels for quick access and for interior pockets together with the top expanding flap in case you need to carry your jacket or extra gear.
