A few weeks back, mysteriously disappeared from the Windows Phone Store due to some technical issues with WP8 Update 3. The removal created quite a fuss all over the internet among WP users.
Both Microsoft and WhatsApp said the app will come back in the near future, and it seems the time has arrived. WhatsApp for Windows Phone is back, and comes with a number of new features on board.
The latest WhatsApp for Windows Phone, with version 2.11.490, brings a handful of new features to the app. Users now get the ability to change the chat background image, as well as new privacy settings to control what others can see. In addition, the new update also brings media auto-download options, allowing you to download the audio, images or video clips automatically when you’re connected to WiFi.
