Samsung has been investigating why their Galaxy Note 7 smartphone caught fire, the handset and also its replacement device both caught on fire.
Samsung recalled the first handset and then when the same problem happened with the replacement, the device was cancelled completely.
There has been speculation that the design of the handset and the way the battery was packed into the device could have caused it to catch fire, of course this is just speculation.
Samsung had originally thought that some of the batteries it used were the problem, these were replaced by batteries from another manufacturer, but the problem was still there.
Samsung will apparently reveal details of its investigation some time later this month, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
