Western Digital has this week launched a new product to its range of software, in the form of WD SmartWare Pro that will allow you to easily and automatically backup data to your Dropbox account.
The new WD SmartWare Pro software has been designed to provide a instantly back up your files whenever you change a file and save it, create new files, add new pictures, movies, or songs to your WD external hard drive.
The new option within the WD SmartWare Pro software allows you to keep your data safe within the cloud automatically. Western Digital explains a little more about their new WD SmartWare Pro software:
“With the intuitive installation interface, you’re up and running in just a few simple steps. Once you set it up the way you like it, you can forget it because the rest is automatic. Use WD SmartWare Pro to back up your computer to any external hard drive whether that drive is from WD or from a third party. WD SmartWare Pro includes the option to back up your files to the cloud using Dropbox. You can also be double safe and back up your files on your Dropbox account to your local external drive.”
The new WD SmartWare Pro software is now available to purchase for a special offer price of jet $19.95 (normally $29.95) for a limited time and is valid for 3 computers : “Purchase a License Key to enable your WD SmartWare Pro to work with WD Elements drives, other WD external drives and 3rd Party USB drives.” explains WD.
