Gamers patiently waiting for a Watch Dogs release date to be officially announced by Ubisoft after the game was delayed late last year for sometime in 2014. Might be interested to know that the Sony Store has this week revealed a possible Watch Dogs release date of June 30th 2014.
As well as revealing the Watch Dogs release date the Sony Store also revealed that the price of the new Watch Dogs game might be $59.99. But as with other similar leaks the listing could just be a placeholder and may not be an official Watch Dogs release date and price at all.
To re-cap the Watch Dogs game is an open world action-adventure video game currently under development by Ubisoft Montreal and will eventually be published by Ubisoft. It was originally expected to be launched alongside the next-generation PlayStation 4 and Xbox One games console but was unfortunately delayed by Ubisoft.
“The storyline of Watch Dogs game is built around the concept of information warfare, data being interconnected, and the world’s increasing use of technology—questioning who exactly runs the computers they depend on.
The game is set in an alternate reality version of Chicago, Illinois, which is one of many cities to feature a supercomputer known as a “CtOS” (Central Operating System). The system controls almost every piece of technology in the city, and contains information on all of the city’s residents and activities which can be used for various purposes”
