You must be living under a rock if you don’t know that Apple is planning to unveil its next generation iPhone 5S and low-cost iPhone 5C on September 10, based on a number of rumors from authentic sources. To prove this even further, many retailers have reduced the price of the current iPhone 5 in order to get rid of their existing inventory. Starting today, Walmart is offering iPhone 5 for $98 with a two year contract with Sprint, Verizon or AT&T.
Earlier, the device was available for $128 on-contract. In order to get your iPhone 5 from Walmart, you must be eligible for an upgrade from your carrier or you can simply get the device by signing a new, 2-year contract with your choice of carrier. In addition to that, Walmart is also offering Samsung Galaxy S4 at a discounted price of $138 that is $30 less than the price of Galaxy S4 for AT&T.
This gives us another sign that we might end up seeing iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on the event scheduled for September 10. The event is not officially announced by Apple but the date came out as a rumor from many authentic publications. And with retailers decreasing their prices, I’m sure the rumors are correct and we will see new iPhones by the end of this September.
