UK mobile retailer Vodafone just dropped us an email to let us know that they are now offering Apple’s new iPad 4 on their mobile data contracts in the UK. The contract will cost you £27 a month.
Vodafone is offering the iPad 4 on a 24-month contract, with upfront costs of £99 for the 16GB iPad 4, £179 for the 32GB iPad 4, and £259 for the 64GB iPad 4. They are also offering the iPad 2 for £69 upfront.

Vodafone customers in the UK can buy the New iPad with Retina Display in their local Vodafone store, over the phone, or online. This new 9.7-inch iPad features a new, faster processor than the previous model as well as a new FaceTime HD camera and 8-pin lightning connector.
Features and Specifications of the iPad 4
The iPad 4, also known as the iPad with Retina Display, boasts several impressive features that make it a significant upgrade from its predecessors. One of the standout features is its 9.7-inch Retina Display, which offers a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, providing crystal-clear images and vibrant colors. This makes it ideal for watching videos, browsing the web, and playing games.
Under the hood, the iPad 4 is powered by the A6X chip, which is twice as fast as the A5X chip found in the iPad 3. This ensures smoother performance and quicker app launches. The device also includes a 5-megapixel iSight camera capable of recording 1080p HD video, and a FaceTime HD front camera for high-quality video calls.
Another notable feature is the 8-pin Lightning connector, which replaces the older 30-pin dock connector. This new connector is smaller, more durable, and can be inserted either way, making it more user-friendly.
Contract Details and Additional Offers
Vodafone’s 24-month contract for the iPad 4 includes various data plans to suit different needs. For £27 a month, customers get a generous data allowance, ensuring they can make the most of their iPad’s capabilities without worrying about running out of data. This is particularly beneficial for users who stream videos, download apps, and use data-intensive applications.
In addition to the iPad 4, Vodafone is also offering the iPad 2 at a reduced upfront cost of £69. While the iPad 2 lacks some of the advanced features of the iPad 4, it remains a solid choice for those looking for a more affordable option. The iPad 2 features a 9.7-inch display, an A5 chip, and a 0.7-megapixel rear camera. It is suitable for basic tasks such as web browsing, email, and light gaming.
Vodafone’s offer makes it easier for customers to get their hands on Apple’s popular tablets without having to pay the full price upfront. This is particularly appealing for students, professionals, and anyone looking to spread the cost over a longer period.
