The Samsung Galaxy Note II landed on Verizon Wireless last week, and now it would appear that the handset has already been rooted by the guys from the XDA Developers forum.
The Samsung Galaxy Note comes with the latest version of Google’s Android OS, Android 4.1 Jelly bean and the handset features 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED multi-touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Note II include a quad core 1.6GHz processor, plus a choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage, the device also comes with a microSD card slot and a front facing 1.9 megapixel camera and a rear 8 megapixel camera.
