It’s been a while since other major US carrier released the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Galaxy Note Edge, leaving Verizon behind. Although Verizon updated the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 to the latest update in April, the carrier didn’t release update for the curved Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
Fret not, if you’re in possession of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from Verizon, today is your lucky day as the Big Red is now rolling out the latest update for the handset.
The latest update bumps the software version to LRX22C.N915VVRU2BOF2, and comes with a number of new features and improvements on board. The update brings the fluid Material Design, as well as improved notifications, “Do Not Disturb” mode now replaces the “Blocking mode”, as well as several other enhancements on board. The update is usually rolled out in phases so it may take a few days for all devices to get the update — don’t panic if you can’t see it right now.
