The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been recalled around the world and most people have returned their device for a refund or a different handset.
Verizon Wireless has revealed that it still has thousands of customers on its network who are still using the handset and it will now start to redirect calls on the handset.
Any outgoing call made on the Galaxy Note 7 that is not an emergency call will now be redirected to Verizon’s customer service.
In spite of our best efforts, there are still customers using the recalled phones who have not returned or exchanged their Note 7 to the point of purchase. The recalled Note 7s pose a safety risk to our customers and those around them.
If you are still using the Galaxy Note 7 on Verizon, now might be a good time to return it as the company has also revealed that it may charge customers the full retail price of the handset which is about $850.
