One of the safety features included with the Vanhawks Valour bicycle is its integrated turn-by-turn navigation system that keeps your eyes on the road and your hands on the handle bar. Using low energy Bluetooth technology to connect to your smartphone for directions, and using LED indicators signal to let others know your intentions as your cycle round busy cities. It creators explain :
“We’re rethinking the commute, one bicycle at a time. Technology impacts our lives in countless ways. Yet we ride the same, archaic bicycles to and from work every day, disconnected from our environment and ourselves. It’s time to integrate the most influential technology into the bicycle. You’re connected, why shouldn’t your bike be?”
The Vanhawks Valour bicycle also uses integrated haptic feedback in the handlebar grips to alert you by vibrating if any object might be in your blind spot ensuring your safety so you can ride comfortably. The innovative bike project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production.
