Shortly after launching the Steam Community Market, allowing users to sell in-game items for Steam Wallet funds, Valve is back with a new Steam Community service. Game Guides allows players to make and post their own walkthroughs, complete with screenshots, Youtube videos and collaborative editing for the benefit of other players.
“You’ve probably got some favourite games that you play a lot and know pretty well,” Valve said. “Or maybe you’ve mastered playing as a certain class or character in Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty. Or maybe you’re just really good at finding all the hidden secrets in the latest Elder Scrolls game.” I just hope Valve is ready for the day GameFAQs opens up its own successful digital game store and makes its own legendary FPS games.
