Motorola introduced the all new Moto Z earlier this year in the United States, but the handset was exclusive to Verizon in the country.
If you want to purchase the Moto Z so you can use it on any other carrier, there’s some good news for you. Moto Z is now available in unlocked flavors in the United States so customers can use it on any carrier they want.
There’s obviously a drawback as customers will have to pay the complete outright amount, which is $700. Customers can purchase the handset directly from Motorola as well as through third party retailers including Best Buy and Amazon. If you’re waiting for the unlocked Moto Z Play, the handset is expected to go on sale in the country on October 20th.
Moto Z comes with a 5.5-inch display sporting a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels resolution, a Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, 13MP camera and ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
