If you’re rocking an international/unlocked variant of the HTC One M8, there’s a piece of good news for you. HTC’s Mo Versi said the company will release the Android 4.4.3 for the handset late next week.
The update is not a big one, and incorporates mostly bug fixes. For those of you who are wondering why not the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, well, Mo Versi said they have added the security fixes in the Android 4.4.3 update, and will roll out the update soon.
Although, Android 4.4.4 has rolled out for a few handsets, including Nexus devices and a few more, as well. The Android 4.4.4 update introduced some fixes related to OpenSSL. There’s no word about the release of the update for carrier variants, but if you’re rocking the Sprint HTC One M8, you should have received the update by now.
It’s good to see that HTC is committed on bringing timely updates for its devices. The company has already announced the HTC One M8 will get the latest Android L update within ninety days of receiving it from Google.
