UK Supermarket Asda, which is part of Walmart, will be trialing 3D printing and scanning at one of its supermarkets here in the UK, although the printing of the device will not actually take place in the store.
From next week, the Asda supermarket in York, will be offering its customers the opportunity to be scanned, digitally modeled, and then turned into an 8-inch ceramic figure.
The customers will be scanned in around two minutes, although the printing will take a little longer, and you will have to wait another week to pick up the 3D printed model of yourself. Have a look at the video below.
