Motorola continues to impress us with the timely updates for the Moto X on all major U.S. carriers who are selling the highly customizable Moto X.
After T-Mobile, it seems the next carrier in line to get the chocolaty taste of Android 4.4.2 KitKat is U.S. Cellular. A rumor popped up a few days back suggesting U.S. Cellular Moto X will get the latest KitKat update this week, and it seems it was correct after all.
The latest update brings the similar set of features that were introduced for the T-Mobile version of the Moto X. But, in case you can’t recall, here’s the official list of bug fixes and enhancements introduced in the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat for the U.S. Cellular Moto X:
- Added support for printing photos, Google Docs, GMail messages, and other content via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and hosted services like Google Cloud Print and HP ePrinters.
- Fixed bugs which caused a small number of users to experience shorter battery life after upgrading to Android 4.4.
- Fixed a bug that could cause email services like Microsoft Exchange to experience intermittent delays in data synchronization.
The over-the-air update should hit the devices in the coming days, you might have to wait for a few days if you want it to reach you automatically. Otherwise, if you’re impatient, head over to the mobile settings and manually check if the update is available.
