Ryan Seacrest-backed iPhone Typo Keyboard case has launched their latest accessory for the iPhone 6 for $99, and is available for sale through the company’s website.
It features a new design to prevent any legal issues with Blackberry which resulted in the ban on their previous case launched last year.
The case is modelled on the iPhone software keyboard, however, it blocks the Touch ID access. CEO Laurence Hallier said they’ll prefer to have it blocked and be able to type the messages more easily. They also tried the case for iPhone 6 Plus, but dropped the idea as it was already too big in size. “We designed one, but the phone is so big, it makes it top heavy,” Hallier said.
The company also confirmed they are working on a keyboard case for the iPad as well, but it won’t be out until next year. The company didn’t offer complete details of the project, but shared a few images with folks over at Re/code. Hallier said the company has spent two years, and over $2 million on the design, and you can check out the image shared with the folks at Re/code above. “It’s a completely different take on a keyboard for the iPad,” he said.
