TP-Link has announced that their TP-Link Smart Bulbs are now supported by Amazon Alexa in the UK with the “TP-Link Kasa” smart home skill.
Amazon Alexa can now be used to change the color of the TP-Link Smart Bulbs and also turn them on and off.
“TP-Link’s dedicated research and development team always strives for new ways to enhance the smart home experience of our customers,” said David Li, CEO of TP-Link Research America Corporation. “Our successful ongoing collaboration with Amazon allows us to continue developing new ways for consumers to personalize their smart homes.”
The enhanced TP-Link Kasa smart home skill for Amazon Alexa makes it easier than ever to select the perfect lighting for any mood or setting. Users can tell Alexa to make bedroom lights warmer in the evening to improve sleep or ask Alexa for cool white light in the office, to help concentrate on work. It’s also easier than ever to adjust brightness levels, change the temperature of white light or quickly flip the lights to the colours of your favourite sports team. You can even change the colour to a romantic pink or bold red for date night, simply using the sound of your voice.
“TP-Link is strongly committed to the smart home category,” said Lewis Wu, executive vice president at TP-Link USA. “Through our relationship with Amazon’s Alexa team, we continue to find new ways to innovate and offer consumers feature-rich products that will make their lives easier.”
