Gamers patiently waiting for the launch of the new highly anticipated Titanfall game next week might be pleased to learn that the games developers have today confirmed that a Titanfall Season Pass will be made available.
The Titanfall release date for the PC and next-generation Xbox One games console is March 13th in Europe, and on March 11th 2014 in the US. The Titanfall Xbox 360 release date has now been pushed back two weeks into the end of March.
Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella explained:
“We’re going to do paid DLC, we’re also going to do free updates. There are things that we want in the game that we didn’t get to ship in the final game. So we’ll add private matches and things like that for free. There will be some paid DLC. We’re going to do a season pass just because if you buy it up front, it’s a deal. We’re not going to do microtransactions. So a season pass is just buy it up front, and you get a better price.”
There is also a Titanfall Collector’s Edition available to pre-order for $250 that includes an exclusive collectible 18″ Atlas Titan statue, hardcover art book, and exclusive Titan schematic poster.
