Last week we told you that Orange plan to offer Sunsidized iPads in the UK, and now another mobile operator has confirmed that they will be offering subsidized iPads in the UK.
Mobile operator Three will start selling subsidized iPads within the next few months, and you will be able to purchase an iPad from three with a monthly data service plan, so basically you will have to pay less up front for the iPad.
Three UK today announced it will offer new purchase options for iPad users, including more affordable prices when purchased with a data service plan, for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models in the coming months.
Three didn’t give us any details of what data plans will be available with the iPad, and we don’t know as yet on how much they intend to charge per month.
It will be interesting to see how heavily the iPads are subsidized, and how much cheaper the up front costs will be when compared to purchasing one out right from Apple.
Update 3rd December 2010
Three has released full pricing details of both the ipad and the data plan, full details at the link below.
