Three of the major mobile carriers in Russia have decided to drop the Apple iPhone from their range of mobile devices. The three carriers include MTS, VimpleCom and Megafon.
The carriers have apparently dropped the iPhone, as Apple had wanted them to pay large subsidies and also invest heavily in marketing of the iPhone.
The three carrier contracts have apparently come to an end, and they have decided not to renew the contracts with Apple due to the costs involved.
