According to a recent report this years iPhones may come with a dual Bluetooth audio feature. This would allow you to use two pairs of headphones or two speakers to the device at the same time.
The news comes in a report from Japanese Apple blog Mac Otakara who have claimed that this new feature will be similar to Samsung’s dual audio feature which lets you play music to two connected devices at the same time.
At the moment the current iPhones are capable of connection to multiple headphones and speakers but only one audio profile, which means that music can only be played to one device at a time.
This new feature may also be made available for other models of Apple’s iPhones as a software update, it would work with Bluetooth 5 compatible devices and this would include the iPhone 8, iPhone X, iPhone XS handsets.
We may here more information about this feature at Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference next month, as Apple will be releasing details about iOS 13 at the event.
