Porsche’s first all electric sport car, the Porsche Taycan is official and we have all the details on this new car.
The Taycan is a four door sports saloon, it will be available in a range of models, the top one is the Taycan Turbo S that produces 560 kW or 761 PS, this is about 750 horsepower.
There will also be a Turbo model which will produce 500 kW or 680 PS, this is about 670 horsepower, these cars comes with some seriously impressive performance.
The Turbo S model of the Taycan has a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 2.8 seconds and the Turbo model has a 0 to 62 miles per hour time of 3.2 seconds. The Turbo S will have a range of 412 KM and the Turbo a range of 450 KM.
Both models come with a top speed of 260 KPH which is around 161.5 miles per hour and the Taycan is the first production electric car to come with 800 volts, most electric cars use 400 volts.
The car can be charged to give you up to 100 KM range in just five minutes and it can charge to 80 percent in just 22.5 minutes. You can find out more details about the new Taycan over at Porsche at the link below, as yet we do not have any details on pricing.
