Porsche has been teasing its new electric vehicle, the Porsche Taycan, ahead of its launch next month. We recently saw an endurance test, and now the company has revealed the full interior for the car.
As you would expect, the interior of the new Porsche Taycan comes with all of the latest technology. There is an impressive digital dash and controls throughout the car, which are designed to enhance the driving experience and provide a seamless interface for the driver.
Innovative Interior Design

Classic design features have been reinterpreted and brought into the digital age. “Less is more applies here too,” explains Ivo van Hulten, Director Interior Design Style Porsche at Porsche AG. “The Taycan interior combines design elements typical for the brand with a new type of user experience, and impresses with its simple elegance.” Porsche will present the Taycan to a worldwide audience in September 2019.
The Taycan’s interior is a blend of classic Porsche design and modern digital innovation. The dashboard features a curved 16.8-inch display that is fully configurable, allowing drivers to customize the information they see. This is complemented by a central 10.9-inch infotainment display and an optional passenger display, creating a wide digital cockpit that spans the width of the car.
Advanced Technology and Sustainability
The Taycan also emphasizes sustainability, with the use of innovative materials that are both luxurious and environmentally friendly. The interior can be outfitted with leather-free options, including a high-quality microfibre material called “Race-Tex,” which is partially made from recycled polyester fibers. Additionally, the floor covering is made from recycled fishing nets, showcasing Porsche’s commitment to sustainability.

The car’s advanced technology extends beyond the dashboard. The Taycan features a sophisticated voice control system that responds to the command “Hey Porsche,” allowing drivers to control various functions without taking their hands off the wheel. This system is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it easier for drivers to stay focused on the road.
Another notable feature is the Taycan’s innovative battery technology. The car is equipped with an 800-volt system, which allows for faster charging and improved performance. This is a significant advancement over the 400-volt systems used in most electric vehicles, and it highlights Porsche’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of electric vehicle technology.
This is one of the coolest interiors we have seen so far, and we are looking forward to seeing the rest of the car when it is unveiled next month. The combination of cutting-edge technology, sustainable materials, and classic Porsche design elements makes the Taycan a standout in the electric vehicle market.
