We previously heard a rumor that the Samsung foldable smartphone was going to be expensive and rumored to cost up to $2,000.
Smartphones are getting more expensive with Apple’s new iPhones being some of the most expensive handsets available, this could change when Samsung’s new folding device launches.
According to a recent report, pricing for the Samsung foldable smartphone could range fro $1,925 to $2,565, this would make it one of the most expensive smartphones on the market.
The handset will come with a folding display that measures 7.3 inches and will come with a resolution of 2152 x 1536 pixels. This display can be folded in half like the picture above, when this is done a secondary display is used, this measures 4.6 inches and will have a resolution of 1960 x 840.
The new Samsung folding handset will come with Bixby 3.0 and the device is expected to launch a Mobile World Congress in February. Samsung showed the device off at their Samsung Developer Conference this month, but have not revealed many of the handsets specifications.
