
Smart wearable devices are becoming more and more popular with manufacturers and new line of wearables launched over the last few years providing smart rings, one such new device is aptly named The Ring.
As you can see in the video below The Ring has been designed to provide users with a gesture-based smart wearable that allows you to control a variety of different applications on your smartphone, Google Glass or smartwatch.
Designed by Logbar Inc. a Japanese manufacturer with headquarters in Tokyo together with an office in California in the US. The Ring has been designed to provide users with addition control over their other pocket devices, apps and eyewear.

Users are able to create their own custom gestures for The Ring to recognise and comes complete with everything you require to adjust the size of the zinc coated wearable together with a stand for recharging the wearable when required.

The Ring’s internal lithium polymer battery is capable of providing between 1 to 3 days of continuous use and is capable of being left for 18 days on continuous standby. Once flat it will take The Ring three hours to fully charge.
The Ring Originally launched over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website where it raised over $800,000 during its successful campaign. The Ring is now available to purchase for $270 directly from the official website.
