Smart watches are becoming more an more popular, and now one company is going to launch a new smartwatch on Kickstarter later this month, with the Moment Smartwatch.
The Moment Smartwatch is the work of Momentum Labs, and it features a unique design that is designed to give you access to a full keyboard and more.
This new smartwatch looks more like a bracelet or a bangle than a wrist watch, and it features a built in 1.73 inch 150 DPI electrophoretic display that will have a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
The Moment Smartwatch will be powered by a TI Tiva C Series ARM Cortex M4 processor, and it will come with an 820 mAh battery, Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE, plus a 360 degree touch interface.
We believe the Moment Smartwatch is the perfect blend of style and technology. We start with a solid piece of stainless steel and machine it down to form the structure of our watch. This gives us a very strong, rigid base to build on. Inside the steel base we assemble the electronics, which have been carefully selected to provide the Bluetooth connectivity to your phone and the features you need without being excessive. We then complete the watch with a semi-transparent, surface- harden ed lens that allows the technology to remain hidden until you are ready to use it.
This new smartwatch will come with an IP67 rating for dust and water proofing, a nine axis digital motion sensor and more. It certainly looks very interesting from the photos and videos.
The company will launch the Moment Smartwatch on Kickstarter on the 24th of June, as soon a we get some more details about the device, we will let you guys know.
