With their new The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim game launching tomorrow Bethesda is still revealing nuggets of gold about their new creation. In an interview with Wired Skyrim director Todd Howard revealed that Skyrim will feature a never-ending stream of procedurally generated content. Providing gamers with a never ending number of quests to complete.
Howard explained: “The vibe of the game is that it’s something that you can play forever,”
Skyrim contains a Radiant quest system randomly generates new tasks based on your progress in the game and records your actions and changes things in the world according to what you have done.
For example, if you murder someone, their family will find out, as well as the community. It also adjusts game difficulty depending on your skills and changes different things in quests such as different reactions or outcomes depending on how you play.
