It’s been a while since AT&T and Sprint has rolled out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the LG G3, and it seems the next one in line is T-Mobile.
T-Mobile has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the LG G3, but it’s not available over-the-air (OTA). The update is available via LG Mobile Support Tool for a PC
The process isn’t too confusing as users just have to connect their LG G3 to their PC or Mac, and install the update — as simple as it can be. It may take a little while to download and install it. The update bumps the software version to D85120b and build version LRX21Y.
The new Android 5.0 Lollipop comes with a handful of new features and improvements for the handset including the new Material Design which introduces fluid animations and design changes. Furthermore, the new update brings a revamped multitasking interface, improved lock screen notifications, better security, ART runtime, improved battery saved mode and lots more.
