Microsoft has this week announce the availability of a Surface Go Kids Bundle priced at $440 offering a Non-LTE Surface Go tablet together with JBL Headphones designed for kids and a choice of Jumbo Foam Tech Case, Purple or Royal Blue. The Microsoft Surface Go tablet comes preinstalled with Windows 10 Home in S mode and includes a Microsoft Office 365 Home 30-day trial.
Specifications include a 10 inch PixelSense Display offering users a resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels (217 PPI) aspect ratio: 3:2 contrast ratio 1500:1, touchscreen supporting 10-point multi-touch and a screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Internally the tablet is powered by an Intel Pentium Gold Processor 4415Y processor, Intel HD 615 graphics supported by either 4 or 8 GB of RAM together with wireless connectivity provided by support for Bluetooth 4.1 and wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac compatibility.
Connections on the tablet include 1 x USB-C, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 1 x Surface Connect port, Surface Type Cover port, microSDXC card reader and Windows Hello face authentication system thanks to the front facing camera which is accompanied by a rear facing eight megapixel camera with 1080p HD video and a single microphone and 2W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium.
