When it comes to cases for gadgets, one of our favorite brands is Speck. Speck has unveiled a couple new cases today that will be welcome by geeks planning to get or give an iPad or Kindle 3. Both of the new cases are called DustJacket and are offered in red and black colors.
The cases are made of faux leather and are both designed to prop up the devices so you can read or watch video without having to hold the iPad up. The DustJacket for the iPad opens like a book and has a protective cover that folds back. The screen of the iPad can be propped at different angles and the case has a micro-fiber interior to prevent scratches. The iPad case sells for $49.95 and is available now.
The DustJacket for Kindle 3 is a protective folio style case that has a stand that retracts into the case for propping it open and up when you read so you can use your hands for other things. The Kindle 3 version also has a microfiber lining and it will sell for $34.95.Filed Under: Apple iPad, Technology News
