If you have been awaiting the arrival of Sony’s new Wi-Fi Reader PRS-T1, your wait is now over and the worlds lightest eReader according to Sony, is now available to pre-order. Originally Sony was stating an October 16th launch date for their new reader but Sony has now brought this forward to October 2nd.
The new Sony Reader PRS-T1 is equipped with a 6 inch 600 x 800 pixel resolution touchscreen display and measures just 8.9mm thick and weighs in at just 168 grams.
Its also equipped with a range of new features including the ability to borrow eBooks from public libraries over Wi-Fi. It comes supplied with 2GB of internal memory good for storing 1,200 books, but you can expand the storage using microSD cards.
You can now pre-order Sony’s new Wi-Fi Reader PRS-T1 device for $149.
