Sony has now listed the Sony Xperia ZL on their Sony online store in the US, and the company will be selling the handset unlocked without the need for a contract in the US, although they have not listed a release date as yet.
The Sony Xperia ZL has slightly different specifications to the Xperia Z, it features a 5 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a quad core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro processor.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia ZL include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, the handset features dual cameras with a front facing 2 megapixel camera for video chat and a rear facing 13 megapixel camera for photos and video.
