Details are starting to emerge about Sony’s next generation flagship smartphone, the Sony Xperia Z3, and some photos have appeared online which are rumored to be of the new metal casing for the Z3.
You can see the photos below, which show that the handset will come with a metal frame and will be very thin, the frame of the handset will apparently be treated with a PVD coating.
The Sony Xperia Z3 is rumored to come with a full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels as opposed to a QHD display, and the device will apparently be powered by Qualcomm’s latest mobile processor.
The handset is said to come with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and will also come with3GB of RAM, there are no details on the clock speed of the processor as yet, although it comes with four Krait 450 cores which are capable of running up to 2.7GHz.
The Sony Xperia Z3 will also feature an Adreno 320 GPU, and the handset is also said to feature the same 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera that can be found in the Xperia Z2, the device will also come with the same water resistance as the Z2.
Of course these specifications are just rumored at the moment, and they could change before the handset is released, and according to recent rumors, the Sony Xperia Z3 may be made official in August.
