The Sony Xperia Z2 has been available to pre-order from Sony’s online store, although Sony recently stopped taking pre-orders of the device, which lead to rumors that there would be shortages of the handset at launch.
Now Sony has increased the price of the Sony Xperia Z2 in Germany, the handset was originally available to pre-order for 599 Euros, but Sony has now increased the price to 679 Euros in Germany.
There are no details from Sony on why they have increased the price of the handset by some 80 Euros in Germany, and it is not clear on whether the price will be increased in any other countries.
The Sony Xperia Z2 features a 5.2 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the handset is powered by a quad core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor.
