We just saw some leaked photos of the new Sony Xperia M5 and C5 Ultra and now Sony has made the two devices official.
The Sony Xperia M5 is designed to be both dust and waterproof the device features an IP65 and IP68 rating, the handset also comes with a 5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications on the new Xperia M5 include a 64 bit MediaTek Helio X10 Octa core processor which is clocked at 2GHz.
The handset also comes with 3GB of RAM, 16FGB of built in storage, pus a microSD card slot which supports cards up to 200GB in size.
The device has a front facing 13 megapixel camera for selfies which can record Full HD video in 1080p, the rear camera is a 21.5 megapixel Sony Exmor RS with Hybrid AF, it also comes with 5x zoom and an record 4K video.
Sony have said that their new Sony Xperia M5 smartphone will go on sale in selected countries later this month, as yet there are no details on pricing. The device will be available in three colors, gold, white and black.
