Sony has this week teased a new 100 inch 4K TV it has built in the form of the new Sony XD9, which as you can see in the image above is one huge TV that requires a little extra space when compared to others currently on the market.
The Sony XD9 come supplied with an integrated floor stand and is equipped with Backlight Master Drive technology providing individual LED backlight control and full 4K HDR support.
Sony explains a little more about their new Sony XD9 that will be equipped with the ability to run Android TV with Google Cast support and its technology.
For the ultimate in picture quality, this TV pairs the brilliance of 4K clarity with the brightness, color, and detail of High Dynamic Range (HDR). Previously hidden areas of dark shadow and sunlight are now full of clarity and detail. Like you’re really standing there on the beach, watching the sun go down, the 4K HDR Processor X1™ Extreme creates a reality that you can feel.
See stars in the sky at night in new detail. The Backlight Master Drive delivers deeper black and brighter lights. Previously hidden details come to life, making scenes more real than ever before. No distractions, just focus on what you’re watching. The pale gold bezel helps the TV look good in any room while cables stay cleverly hidden at the back and the front. The dense, rich, and powerful slate design encapsulates the viewing experience.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet Sony for the XD9 100 inch 4K TV, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
