Sony has announced that it is launching its own retro themed console, the Sony PlayStation Classic. The original PlayStation console launched almost 25 years ago.
The new PlayStation Classic will come with 20 classic games that will include Teken 3, Final Fantasy VII, Wild Arms, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4 and more.
Long-time fans will appreciate the nostalgia that comes with rediscovering the games they know and love, while gamers who might be new to the platform can enjoy the groundbreaking PlayStation console experience that started it all. All of the preloaded games will be playable in their original format.
This new console is about 45 percent smaller that the original PlayStation console, the design is similar to the original and it comes with the same controllers as the original.
The console will come HDMI to connect to your TV and it will go on sale on the 3rd of December 2018, the new Sony PlayStation Classic will cost £89.99 in the UK and $100 in the US.
