If you have been waiting to get your hands on the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, the wait is almost over as Verizon Wireless has started taking pre-order’s on Sony Ericsson’s new gaming smartphone and it will begin shipping on the 25th of May.
Verizon Wireless are offering the Xperia Play for $199.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract, you can also purchase it SIM free for $449.99.
As a reminder the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play features a 4 inch multitouch display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, processing is provided by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and there is also an Adreno 205 GPU and 512MB of RAM, you can find out more details over at Verizon.
