Microsoft updated Skype for Windows Phone, bumping its version to 2.13 and brings a bunch of new features and enhancements to the IM client. Microsoft introduced a much-awaited feature in the latest update, giving users the ability to copy and paste instant messages from a chat. To copy a message, just tap and hold on the message, press copy and paste it wherever you want.
Today we’re excited to release an update to Skype for Windows Phone 8, version 2.13. As we continue the journey on Skype’s Mobile Future, we’ve focused this release of Skype for Windows Phone on getting you into the conversations you care about faster. In 2.13 we’ve made a significant improvement to the time it takes for the app and your recent conversations to load when you start up Skype from the tile.
Along with general fixes and improvements, the latest update ads high contract accessibility mode to Skype which is enabled when your Windows Phone is set to high contrast. Additionally, the application now loads faster when users launch the application from live tiles.
